David Bravin is a self-made engineer of audio, mostly in the rock music idiom, and he's bloody good. He has a lot up his sleeve (undisclosed). He used to work in one quite dumpy, underground (literally below ground level and damp) studio which had the right stuff (somewhere in London), where whilst cutting his teeth he was generous enough to do all-nighters with the likes of Gadsdon and Jonas recording Solemn Crisps (unreleased, unplanned). That's where Jonas fell asleep during mixing and basically hurt himself, to the point where he decided all-nighters are not for him anymore (mostly).

Anyway Bravin has been recording his great work making bands sound big, slammy, balanced and wide and fresh at the Fiddlers Elbow in Camden and here is an example. http://grooveshark.com/#!/s/The+Jackets+Live/6GC4dq?src=5

Will David's mixing skills do I Am Meat justice? Yes.

Meat.
